Exclusive Properties

  • ● PET is a hygroscopic material. If the moisture content is too high, hydrolysis will occur during high temperature treatment, severing the PET molecular chains and thermally decomposing to produce acetaldehyde.
  • ● When the parison is infused, the physical and mechanical properties are reduced, the crystallization rate is increased and the bottle is created.
  • ● Before injection moulding the preform, the PET pellets should be dried to a moisture content of 0.005% or less to produce a good amorphous transparent preform.
